Urinsaya ccollana strengthens its fight against forest fires

We base our strategy on the needs and aspirations of Andean communities, prioritizing their active participation, local decision-making, and respect for their ancestral knowledge. We promote inclusive, sustainable processes, free from paternalism, to strengthen community resilience in the face of current challenges.

Food safety

We implement family and school gardens in open fields and in greenhouses , improving access to nutritious food, reducing malnutrition and strengthening the economy of families.

Restoration of Andean ecosystems with native plants

Through reforestation with native plants, we recover soils, improve water retention and promote the return of flora and fauna, always working in partnership with the communities.

Forest fire risk management

We train and organize community brigades for the prevention and control of forest fires, protecting both restored ecosystems and nearby populations.

Cultural revaluation

We promote traditions such as Ayni, Minka and respect for Pachamama and the Apus, strengthening cultural identity, community cohesion and the sense of belonging.
